So Im almost certain Ive found the wheels I want to buy. Klutch SL14 matte black 17x8.5. They have the SL1 that looks nice
also but the biggest wheel they make is a 16". I just want to get some opinions before I pull the trigger. Also I was wondering if I need to roll my fenders if I lower it 2 inches. Im just trying to stay away from extreme camber or rolled fenders. Or if theres other wheels you think would look good. P.S. my cars a Kona

I lowered my car with the skunk2 springs and I got my fenders rolled. There is plenty of room still and I'm on stock size tires. I don't think I needed to have them rolled at all but didn't realize it until after.. So my guess is probably not needing them rolled with 16's. But not 100% sure. As for the wheels, they're pretty nice looking in my opinion but I know when wearing clothes brown and black clash. I'm sure they will look good on your car though :) just my .02

See I was thinking the same thing. I wish I knew how to photoshop so I can get a better idea of what it looks like. They also make that wheel in chrome.

You won't need to roll your fenders with a 2" drop on 17x8.5 wheels, unless they have an extremely low offset.

They offer multiple choices for offsets. Do you think I would have a problem with a +15 offset?

You might rub over bumps. A 2" drop is usually at about the top of the tire, maybe a little lower, so at a standstill you'll be ok. But then again, the size tire you choose is also a factor.

I kind of like the stretched look. But I was thinking about running a 215/40/17. Maybe I'll go 1.5" drop or less of an offset. I just hate rubbing. I have a 89 Si with a decent offset and rubbed on big bumps. Just trying to avoid all that. And Im not really into extreme camber cant afford tires every couple months.

Those are nice wheels.

Black is already the accent colour, with black trim, black mouldings and black interior, so IMHO black wheels would look great and wouldn't clash at all. Remember too that the Kona body colour practically looks black after sunset. Chrome, on the other hand, would stick out. If I had a few extra bucks, I'd go black.

Then again, I know a guy who just painted his fluorescent green, so everybody has their own way of looking at things.
