Im a fan of plastidip; never used it before, but it went well. Im not a huge fan of the matte texture, but less distracting than the 'chrome' molding. I wonder if theres somthing thast would give it a more glossy finish - just for kicks. Couple of coats and it was good to go. Waited too long the first time to remove the tape and it dried on top of the tape, so when i peeled it off... :pat: Its been on since October, no wear yet...Makes me wanna do the front.

It's A Fast Pig!
Nice update on the car... get a 90degree zerk fitting for the bushing that is going on the drivers side. The gas tank blocks the bushing just enough that you can't get a grease gun on there.

Where did you get the bumper scuff plate?? Link?? Do you know if it would fit a coupe?? Thanks and car looks great.......
Thanks bud! Chipping away at it. Still only has about 9k miles on it, so I wont be messing with any engine or exhaust mods until maybe 30k or 50k miles.

This is the one I got. It says all trims so I would assume it fits 12 and 13 coupes too. Its got a few strips of 3M on the back, but like with every other 3M applied element its always safe to add some more.

Looks good! did the same thing on mine. Those bottom chrome pieces were a pain to get out to do.

I dont know if Im gonna do those. Havent made up my mind yet, but for now they're staying. Thought it might be cool to some progessively spaced lines. // / / / / / .....idk
I've just been blocking the spray with tarps and tape.

Yeah I thought about that but had time to kill when it was raining so just took it off. But each silver piece is held on with a screw and 6 clips each.

With stock rims and tires, does anyone think I'd need lower profile tires w this setup? Any rubbing?
