Detour from 8p - 8a, for bridge repair. We have to go the "back" way out of Fontana to get to 129.

Do what? We have had the dragon here every year at this time for like....how many years now? 7+ years?

There were many reasons why we do it at this time;

It's generally a bit cooler than in the middle of summer
Slightly less traffic
Less chance of koo koo kiddies coming during HS / college vacations and wrecking their brand new civic mommy and daddy bought
Less expensive rates at Fontana in September being that it's not summer or fall foliage season

So no....we ain't changing the time.
