Who uses CDs anymore? I had a 13in laptop with no cd drive and I was fine with that for about 2 years.

$400 ish on the high side. I have keyboard, mouse, and large monitor I would sometimes want to use if possible. Guess another CPU wouldn't be out of the question in order to get better specs for a low price.
My 6-7 year old CPU is officially kicking the bucket. It will freeze up after 5-10 minutes after the boot up is completed.
Might look into getting something else. Perhaps a cheapy laptop? I mainly am on my iPad most of the time but sometimes I want to just sit at the desk while doing bills...
To me, that study/test shows that the, what I believe to be stock filter, performed better in regards to doing its job of filtering dirt. No claims to HP performance or mentioned anything about HP performance.
One can assume that the K&N will net you a gain in HP compared to a stock filter...
