So the painter's boss just called me and couldn't understand why it would cost $1600 to detail my car. He was trying to handle this before insurance came into play but didn't want to pay out of pocket more than $1000. Well he didn't sound to pleased when I told him my insurance is taken over and...
He is trying to go through the corporation I work for to get this taken care of at cost of the painter's since they "forced" him to go there. If they won't take care of this he will sue the detailer and painter.
Just left express. I plan on dropping the car off as soon as my check comes in. These people are amazing. They are going to handle everything to ensure the car is detailed properly.
So one of the other guys went to get his car detailed at the sketchy place they tried to make me go. They told him to go there or sue them in court so he went there. They hacked the car up with the buffer. They didn't even get all of the overspay off.
If it is a grand worth of work, my insurance company will come back and readjust the damage and continue to pay until the car is fixed. They just quoted for the clay bar.
I have a $100 deductible. The insurance company has made it clear my rates will NOT go up because of this. They told me as they are going to get the other party to pay whether it be voluntarily or not. After I will be reimbursed.
So I just got done with the insurance adjuster and he quoted me $500 if there is no problem areas. All I have to do is pay my deductible and the insurance company will get reimbursed by the painter's company. Now I wait for the check to get here and should be getting her detailed soon.
I hope so. I didn't even think about the Louisiana law for property damage. I'm just waiting for the adjuster to give me a call. I tried the owner but had to leave a message. They are based out of state and probably don't know the laws here in Louisiana.
It is the same. I just opened a claim through my insurance company to talk to a representative that knows the law. I am sick of them trying to do it their way when they are the ones that caused this mess.
So I talked to the painter's boss today and he said the owner of the company was not going to pay $1000 to have my car detailed. I commute an hour to work everyday and this is the only car I have. What they are saying is I would have to get off of work at 7 am and wait until the detailer opens...
Everyone thinks the paint will just buff off but that stuff is baked in there. I am going to stop by and see the place and ask the guy a few questions to see about the quality of work. If I don't think the work is going to be quality I will fight like hell to go to my preferred detailer.
So I finally heard back from the painters. They want me to go to a detailer of their choice. I'm a little worried. I don't know if they warranty their work or not.

If it is a planted tank I would do a small group of flame tetras. I have some in my tank and the colors are amazing with the natural plants and driftwood.
