I picked them up at tire rack. I'm happy with them. I picked up the vtec stickers but haven't had time to get them on. I think the shop my car is at is going slap them on for me but if not I will get them on when I get the car back.

I cant wait to be proud of my car again. I'm literally going to pick it up and install the springs immediately after. You will have a chance to see it in person this year.

My problem is I bought the car used and only had a powertrain warranty. I never got anything in the mail.

So when I dropped my car off yesterday to get detailed they told me I have a factory recall on the hood due to poor paint quality. They showed me what looks like "cat hair" in the paint on the hood of the car. My question is has anyone else heard this? I can't seem to find any information on it.

Temporary ride

So I finally got my insurance check in. Went and dropped the car off today. Hoping to get it back next week. I'm so relieved now. It will all be better once this crap is finished though.

So the si badge on the grill of my 2012 civic came off. I bought an aftermarket badge on eBay. Well it didn't take long before most of the paint on it came off. Any idea where to get a replacement oem badge?

Well good news. My vacation has been approved for September 12-21. I have never owned a car until now and feel like this will be a trip to remember. I am going to try to make it up there for at least a couple days.

The painter's didn't post signs the entire time they were there. As for where I was parked. They told me they were painting the front of the building. I asked if I was ok where I was parked and they told me they weren't doing that side. Well it turns out they did that side anyway with a spray...

I know right. It's ok. He may not want to pay but with insurance handling it now he doesn't really have a choice.
