So guys, and gals, from my understanding of the amount of knowledge I have acquired from here right, our engine has a integrated header correct? So this means that swapping out to get bigger headers can't/hasn't been done yet right? And the only thing that's been taken from a k20 n put onto our cars is the rbc or rrc intake manifold right? Cuz I had one guy on insta, n also my bf suggest bigger headers (bf) or k20 header (insta) and I'm like no we got integrated headers, only way I can see that is if you rebuild the back part of the block. N they like no it can b done..... I'm a female but I love to read so am I right ? Not saying it's impossible but no one has touched the headers, just downpipe. This is for a reason correct????

People intermingle the word header/downpipe. The 9th gen just has 1 exhaust port, instead of 4 exhaust ports found on the 8th gen. The options are here - http://9thcivic.com/forum/threads/2012-civic-downpipe-list-with-product-info-links.6853/

prob the best pic - the right one is the stock downpipe that comes off the car. The left is the aftermarket downpipe. It's just one pipe instead of 4 found on the 8th gen.

Thanks webby! I said that to my bf that it all merges into one pipe, the pipe is what can b swapped out, he keeps saying the headers. Oy vey. I swear I'll jus let him crawl under n see for himself.

Yes but with the HIDs I rarely use them.
