I honestly don't like the rear of the '13 as much as the '12, although the front is better. The real improvements, for me, are the interior improvements and dampened road noise. I'm just about set on getting a '13.

I have a lot of my interior torn apart right now because I still have not finished my stereo install due to lack of time. I am considering additional sound dampening at this point, but don't really want to add a lot of weight to the car in the process...

I didn't at first either, it grew on me. The quality of the interior is far superior, that's what sold me. Plus the backup cam, but after tearing into the 13. It has a ton more sound proofing and subtle little upgrades. The rear wings a little flashy but other than that it's the bomb!

What do you guys think about short shifters? Billetpro? I want the whole assembly for this ride!

I would stay away from full replacements. They usually lack "stops" in the assembly, and your transmission forks become the stops. They have been known to cause long term damage in some cases :coffee:
So an adapter is best?-

There isn't an entire shifter assembly on the market for this chassis that I'm aware of. I really like my TWM short shifter, but am not a huge fan of the way they conduct business. If/when I get my '13, I'll be keeping the shifter totally stock. The only problems I ever had with the shifter were the height and forward/aft play and nothing I've done has changed the forward/aft play at all.

Thanks JAYBLS...I know you know what's up. I appreciate your input. So, no shifter change at all?

I never had issues with TWM service, always loved their products. They made a whole replacement assembly for our cars, and mine always gave me issues. Grinding gears when shifting slowly and normally, couldn't get into R easily. Then I saw a fellow member who had shift fork damage due to the lack of bumpstops in the 8thgen design, and that tore it. Got rid of it. Short shift adaptors, and pieces similar to what I've seen of the billetpro design wouldn't have that problem.
