I'm not saying Fram is bad. I want to share to people that not all Frams are bad and they actually are one of the supplier for Honda's OEM filters. Fram has a bad reputation from "cardboard" end caps. In terms of filter functionality, it doesn't matter what the end caps are made from. The end caps are not part of the filter media. The endcaps are just there to hold the filter media element in place. The Filtech 15400-PLM-A01 acutally doesn't use any end caps at all as well as many OEM toyota filters.
