Found a set on CL for cheap and thinking about picking them up. Cash is tight right now, but I hate the stock steelies and fuel saver tires. had to put the car back up to stock height because it was too low to ship without damaging. photoshopped this to get an idea of what it'll look like. what do you all think? is it worth $350 for rims and tires?

Yes. $350 is a steal for a set of wheels/tires.

i know it's a deal, but I been messing around in PS and I dunno if I like em. haha. I could probably always sell em for what I paid later. Just gotta wait til i get off work to check em out in person.

woohoo! talked the guy down to $300 for the wheels and tires. now that they're on i actually like em a lot better than i thought i would.

tires are in decent shape with lots of tread left. wheels have been repainted, but spin true and look fine as long as you're not looking at em from less than two feet away. i'll have pics in the morning.

I never realized how truly crappy the stock firestone "fuel fighter" tires were for grip. These bf goodrich traction T/As aren't the greatest tire, but they sure beat the heck out of the stock rubber.

Not sure what it's missing, but now my car looks like it needs something else. just doesn't look right for some reason...

they look good... springs?

i had the 8th gen sportlines on but I took them off because the car's getting shipped to NC soon and it was too low to ship without risking damage, so suspension wise, it's all stock. i would've waited til we moved to buy nicer wheels, but $300 was too hard to pass up.

BTW, does anyone know if the TPMS from my steelies are compatible with the EP3 wheels? I'm taking it in tomorrow to get swapped, but I wasn't sure they were even compatible.
