I have been informed that Strut King plans to probably release their dead pedal by the end of summer. I've seen a prototype and it looks good, just like their other dead pedals but with slightly different shape of course since the fitment is different. I've been asked to not share the image so I'm sorry that I can't provide that. The price of their current dead pedals is $40 so the price for this one is expected to be similar.

And to be clear, I don't mean to undermine Yospeed's efforts by posting this, especially considering that Yospeed is a sponsor. Just sharing some info. I am not sure which one I will be buying yet until I see final versions of both.

trustdestruction Thanks for the updated information! To be honest, I'm reluctant to release my dead pedal. Strut King does great work, and I'm guessing their dead pedal will be closer to the OEM look that everyone is hoping for. Mine will be solid billet, but the OEM pedals are all formed sheet metal. Either way, I hope people are happy with both options. I look forward to seeing photos of their product as soon as they have some!

I just wanted to say thank you for the work you have already put into the design and fabrication on the dead pedal, but more importantly the honesty of how you feel it has turned out. :clapping:

A little competition isn't bad, and with two different designs I am sure many will prefer either over the other even if its not just like stock. Many people without Si or Modulo pedals will probably want the dead pedal and many of those people probably won't care if it looks like the OEM pedals.

By the way, I received my tie down the other day and it looks great. Very nice work, just like my awesome license plate frame.
