Stock rims w/ wider tires

Whats the limit before it will rub using the factory Si rims? stock is 225/40R18 and they still look just alittle too skinny.

I was thinking 235/40R18

or could I go 245/35R18

@Dar-Dar had a pic of 235's on stock rims I think, but I can't remember what thread it was in
Those are for 17s though. Wider thread low profile sidewalls might be harder to mount on stock 18s.

Hey pete,

are you wanting a wider tire just for looks or are you looking for more grip? You can get more grip out of a better tire than a lesser tire that is a size wider.

both, I work in the admin side at a shop that can get tires at bone cost cheap ;p
