I was just thinking why does everyone do sound clips with it sitting still and not under a load............. then you went to the pass by....... good on ya'.......
Another way could be to use these Go Pro's suctioned on the back of the car and could listen to them going though some gears and such..........

That's exactly what I think...and that's the reason why I do drive-by's/fly-by's as well :) I would totally use a Go Pro to do it, but sadly I don't have a go pro :/

I don't know what you were using, I just broke down and bought a GP a year + ago, mostly for use on my MC, never had any type of a motion camera before but the mounting system that came with the GP sold me to get one, and I do like it, I bought one before they started moding the camera, so I can't see a on light looking at the back side of the GP, the 2's & 3's have a on light(if you were to ever buy one). Inside the car mine is ok because I can hear it beep on or off, on the MC I can't hear spit.
They also come with open back cases and closed, and can control the wind noise and recorded sounds to a point by putting the correct case on at the speed that works best, but it is adjustable.

Your cat sounded great............

Whoa...I didn't know it had so many functions. That's so perfect for this type of stuff lol. I might have to crack down and invest in one so it seems...I was actually recording this on my phone lol. I have an HTC One. And thanks!

It's A Fast Pig!
Nice vid man. Very cool. My only complaint..... 1:22 - wide open parking lot and you hit the only pot hole I can see. Lol.

Yeah the gopros are very functional. There are a lot of add-on components you can get not just mounts. From a LCD panel that fits on the back so you can have instant playback to a remote control for the new ones. I have an older one and it's fantastic. I bought a bike handlebar mount and I have mine hanging from my rear view. I use it as a dash cam on my way to work. My drive is hairy.

Yeahh...I didn't realize that until after I got home and rewatched the footage haha. I can redo some of the drive/fly-by's if requested on a street rather than a parking lot lol.

Man...from how good the go pro sounds, makes me want to get it now lol. I'll def be saving some money on the side for the go pro. Sounds like a good investment.
