took me like 4 hours highly recommend removing the front bumper, and take your time on the wiring

I like the skunk2 look but 4 hours is a long time for a intake install. I wish they made the rewiring simple

How worried should I be with this installed during a rain storm? I'm thinking of plugging up the whole on the splash guard under the filter. I think I should be good I just want some reassurance. Lol.

You should be fine as long as you dont sink the entire filter in a puddle, I never had a problem with my old skunk2 intake with these fl rain, but for my prl cai I use a hydro shield to cover the splash gaurd hole under the filter instead of putting the hydro shield on the actual filter because vit said that does retrict some air flow.
