PLEASE HELP!! Car shaking/vibrating badly during rain.

Just finished lowering my rear coils a couple days ago, haven't had the opportunity to lower the front yet so the rear of my car is sitting much lower than the front. Tonight on my way to work and it was raining pretty bad out and while driving on the highway my car started shaking REALLY bad. Doesn't do it while stopped/idling. Any idea what might cause this?

So went outside during my break at work, lug nuts were loose in my rear passenger side tire. Smh thank God I caught it on time. That would've been bad

Have you gotten an alignment recently? Lowering your car without an alignment can cause shaking while at speed.

What suspension do you have? Are you sure you loosened the and tightened the lock rings properly? Was the spring sitting correctly after tightening everything? No play in the spring?


Your rear being lower than the front should not make your car shake. On 2 different occasions I rode with either the front being lower than the rear or the rear being lower than the front and I didn't notice much difference in the ride.
