Plasti Dipping Front Chrome

I plan on heading out to Ace and getting some plasti dip to cover up the fake chrome on the front of my EX

I only have one question. When doing it, is it better to just cover up the areas around it, or take it off?

just mask off areas around it. You can peel it off any adjacent areas as well.

i dont like that fake front chrome either!!! are you going to repaint the emblem too? i thought about just putting the carbon fiber tape over it too. i think it will look pretty bad ***!!!

Plasti dip isn't paint, it's completely different. Honestly, I don't like carbon fiber stuff either, unless it's actually being used on supercars and such
I'm leaving the emblem stock, along with the narrow part encircling it
I think that should look pretty cool, I've only ever seen people doing it all, emblem included

The more I think about it, the more I think that may look good...
