My sis-in-law was careless when she opened the passenger's door under the strong wind. It slammed and damaged the door.

Near the edge where the door handle is, there is about 3cm bent/dent inward and about 3cm scratch paint.

Is there any DIY recommended? Do I need body shop to fix it? Although the door can close, the dent and scratch are very annoyed. So sad...

I will try to take a picture shortly.

do a search for "PDR" and the town you live in, or "paintless dent repair" and your area. Some dealerships work with pdr companies to remove dings. They'd be able to at least give you an idea of cost and if the scratches will need painted. Feel free to post some pics.

Thank you Webby.

Please take a look at pictures. You will see a scratch line and that's due to the edge bent inward.

Do you think I can fix it myself by using the dent removal kit?

Thanks,
