Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to say everyone on this forum is awesome, have found so much useful info on the 9th gen Civic & I also wanted to get some insight from you guys to see if you can help me with my final decision. :)

After a loooooooooooooooooong time of contemplating and searching through all the wheel brands and style, I've gone in a circle and have landed back on 2 pretty common styles.

I am currently stuck deciding on either the RPF1'S 17X8 et35 ( Silver or Gold) or the TSW Nurburgring 17x8 et35 (Matte Bronze).

I love both styles. The TSW's I love because the mesh look is a classic and I love the matte bronze, but I'm just hesitant because I don't know what they look like in real life.

The RPF1'S speak for themselves, I'm more stuck on colour, I love the silver because it's a classic look and it will just match the factory wheel look in terms of colour. BUT the gold keeps drawing me in, I have to say I love the whole gold wheel look on subie's and in general...the only thing is I'm scared of them being too flashy, which is where the TSW matte bronze comes in....

I'm torn, any input would be very very appreciated!!

Thanks guys :)

P.S. Im planning using my factory tires on the wheel, and will be sticking with the same size of tire in the future, do any of you foresee any problems with 215's on an 8" wide?...its barely any stretch, am I safe to assume I will be fine & won't rub?

Well, the TSW is a great looking wheel. So is the RPF1. I think the RPF is a "better" wheel. I have a white car also and I run gold wheels. It does look pretty good but you have to be careful of the gold itself. I have heard that the enkei gold is very very yellow. Unfortunately I have not seen it in person. That said I think if you go the RPF1 route, get the silver. I think their gold is too much of a gamble.

Your tire size isn't horrible on an 8". I hate stretched tires but I think you would be fine. Run em' till they are worn out and then go with a slightly wider tire next time. A 225 width would fit great or you could even bump to a 235 if you need some serious grip.

RPF1's have a long time reputation for quality. They are also lighter in weight which helps to reduce unsprung weight. This improves the ride and performance.

I chose the TSW for looks, but the RPF1 is a better wheel.

Thanks for the feedback, thats what I thought too...looking through a bunch of photo's the Gold RPF1's in some looked pretty good and in others looked really yellow gold!...I'll probably go up to 225 just to be safe :)
