How may I help?
When I intend to wax my car, I'll wash with Dawn to strip everything off, then claybar really well. This ensures the surface is as clean as possible for the wax.

Machine polish for surface correction, then wax. Takes the better part of a day, or leave (in garage) overnight to polish/wax next day.

Yep, I mixed Dawn with the car soap. I even put a good concentrate of Dawn soap for the foam gun.

Gave it a good wash...while applying the spray wax found the biggest f***ing door ding on my rear right quarter panel...
Messed my whole day up :(
I still park as far away from places as I can and take up 2 spots because I'm so afraid of A-holes dinging my baby! I feel for you.

Trust me I always do, it happened where I live. I live in an apartment complex where we have a private parking lot in the back to keep our cars off the street but its always packed. And by where I park some lady parks also (has no idea how to drive). She has a little hurricane sandy of a daughter that's 5 years old and always throws herself out the car like she's on crack. I'm almost positive it was her.

I liked your post because your car still looks great.

Sorry about the door-ding. Maybe you can take it to a paintless dent repair place. I've used them in the past, and if they say they can fix it, you'll be blown away at how cheap it will be to make it disappear. Doesn't cost anything to find out.

love how the overlays came out man, and for the cowl take it off one day and repaint it. I plastidipped it on my dads old accord and all the black trims came out perfect.

Thanks man. Dupli-color has the black trim paint. I'll try that out.
