Nokya h11 question

Saw some nokya 7000k *80* watt bulbs on ebay,amazon,etc.
Headlights are 55w rated,wouldn't running that much higher of a wattage cause shorts,overheating,and possibly fire,or just general damage to harness?

Probably. A few people have had issues in the past with 55w bulbs in 35w sockets.

I wouldn't run those on the stock wire harness. Some listings have them rated 80/100 watt

Is a relay harness needed for hid kit? I never have needed one before.

it's not "needed". It's a 10-30 dollar insurance policy depending on where you buy it.
