I can't wait to see when they release the Z models, but still having some issues with the layout/design of the rear. I'm hoping they tweak it over the next couple of years.

The first picture of the accident between the Corvette Stingray and what looks like an older generation Lincoln Town Car appeared on Corvetteforums. The publication mentions that the car had manufacturer license plate, which makes sense as first deliveries to customers are just about to begin, while the road in which the accident took place is very close to the GM Technical Center in Warren.

Some Dealerships Adding $10-20k to MSRP

Price gouging, particularly on a car that's as eagerly awaited as the Corvette Stingray shouldn't be a huge shock, but that makes it no less of a disturbing trend. No wonder some folks want to do away with dealers all together. At least a few dealerships in the west have admitted to adding $10,000-20,000 to the msrp.

Not all dealers are bad guys, though. AN goes on to quote, via email, the Corvette sales manager at a leading Columbus, OH Chevy dealer, saying, "Guys who go above sticker - that's a one-shot deal. These are customers who you're going to see again, and they'll remember that. I'm looking at the bigger picture."

I got a great deal from the dealer I bought my vertte from, and never went back. The issue is many dealers are not properly equipped to handle most work on vettes. So return business is kind of moot anyway.
