Hello Everyone!

I am a major "noob" at all things mod. My 2013 civic si is my first car and I haven't done any mods whatsoever. I wanted to start simple by changing the looks a bit.

I was looking to buy this kit.

http://www.protuninglab.com/hidxe12hocid1.html

I had an eye on it for quite some time. However, I've heard that there are some issues with the patterns. My main objective with this swap is to get HIDs but I really like that Audi LED strip. Can someone shed some light on this issue and maybe give some advice.

Also if I was to get this kit, I've heard that I might need some extra things like resistors (again completely new a this). Could you someone help me out with what I need. Their website isn't very good. :(

Thank You,
soSimple

So there is no electricity issues that I need to worry about? I can just hook it up like the stock lights?

I have these lights and love them. The beam pattern is not as nice as some other projectors, but I have gotten used to it and don't even notice anymore. They provide ample light. I'm wondering if the beam pattern issue was rectified by the manufacturer because there was a lot of feedback given by buyers. Webby is correct in saying that flipping the HID bulb helped out the pattern significantly.

There is a thread specifically about these lights. I'll go dig it up for you.

Tanks! Love your build by the way. I have been looking at it today, but wasn't sure how exactly you installed them so wanted to post a forum.
