Not that any one asked, but I wouldn't put aluminum nuts on steel studs(long or short).
But.... In answer to your question everyone is doing the extended lugs on stock studs, I think there's a washer that needs to go on as well, so they seat correctly.

Not many are using aftermarket wheel studs. So yes, you'll be fine.

Aluminum is a much softer material than steel. I wouldn't trust aluminum lugs to hold the wheels. And yep, I've used the adapters to use aftermarket lugs on stock wheels.

I am interested in somewhat longer (but not 50mm) lug nuts, and have found some I like, but can't fiind any aftermarket extended lug nuts with the ball seat base that our oem and the RSX S rims have. Where would I find the item necessary to adapt a 60 degree \ / base to ours?

I'm looking for a set of blue tuner lugs for my aftermarket rims, what is a solid set of lugs to go with? I don't want to get cheap ones that chip after a season if possible. Would there be a difference in quality going with steel over aluminum as far as paint is concerned? I don't plan on much tracking (if any) but would still like a quality set that I can use for the forseeable future

Also, it's very hard to distinguish the difference between a 7075 and a 6061 Aluminum. I wouldn't be surprised if PWJDM does end up selling 6061 Alum parts...

Yeah and charge 9,000 dollars per ounce for it too. I like quality parts but damn theirs are just beyond outrageous

These guys have some of the cheapest lug nuts I have seen. $26.99 for a set. I am running a set of their black ones. I don't expect the finish to hold up but it has pretty well for the last couple years. I don't know how well the blue will hold up but they are less than half the price of similar mutekis. If they last a year or two they are cheap enough to buy another set.
