Any chance you know if the ILX LEDs are smaller/narrower than the MDX one?

Would love to squeeze in the ILX headlight with the LED DRL strip one day, after I win the lotto. A co worker has the new ILX and I'm jelly of the headlights.

i think the front of the ILX and TLX headlights are narrower, but i dont know if they made the heat sinks smaller too. the ILX has reflectors for the high beam emitters too instead of the lenses last i looked

It looks like the individual LED lenses are smaller, but that could be the pic.....

i think the ILX DRL is also a switch back turn signal, or the upper light bar is the turn signal

I believe the upper is the turn signal.

Wow. Very impressive work. The guy who did them is obviously talented. Also anxious to see those on your car.

It will be a bit to get them on the car, the frankensteined headlight hits the front radiator support and crash frame structure, so i need to do a little reshaping on the headlight to make it clear

Where is the LED Driver mounted on those.

the driver is mounted to the back where the low beam would have been, the harness comes through its grommet in the bottom of the light

i think its just a corner i need to see if i can take it off and jbweld over myself

Could you heat up the plastic and bend/shape the area you need to clear?

maybe, i was thinking of using foil tape and caulk to make a flexible patch over the areas and let me free up most of the way to the heat sink

Those look awesome. I love how the silver of the MDX shroud falls inline with the grille. Makes for a great look.
Really wish I could have used the chrome trim from the TLX ones on mine.
