@Monk : You impress me. You are getting over 500 miles per fill up based on your averages (If I am not mistaken). I am starting to practice your method.

Looks like you're pretty far south of L.A. proper, I don't know how often you go into LA, or what your traffic is like where you live/work, but hope to see you get some good results.

By the way, I do keep a paper log at each fill up, and compare it to the car calculator, and have always been with-in a one mile range difference. (68 fill-ups since July 2012).

My work commute is 4 miles (by street) with a large hill to climb each morning. I think because most my driving is to and from work it knocks my MPG down a bit due to lack of highway driving, but I do use the freeway to visit the girlfriend.

So I used Eco mode today on the hwy. to see how the millage was. Anyways this is my best so far. But summer hasn't really started and I think we're still using winter gas. So when the summer gas starts coming I hope it gets better.

Day and night from your current vs previous... That's my problem. My way to work 18-20 mpg. My way home 35-45 mpg. My average is still not brag able
