Distorted Sub 2013 Civic Si

Hello everybody,

I recently installed an aftermarket sub in my 2013 Civic Si w/ Navi. I did the LOC from the stock subwoofer and I'm not liking the results. The reason I'm not liking these results is because this subwoofer was previously in my old car (1999 Pontiac Firebird) with an aftermarket head unit and the bass was incredible. So my question is, does the stock navi unit have the RCA outputs on the back of it? If it doesn't, what are some ways i can produce a much cleaner sound?

You could always tap into the stock sub wires in the trunk and run it to a hi level input if your amp accepts those. That's what I did on my install and worked much better than using low level pre-amp inputs. Then again this could all be a product/ cable quality issue
