Sorry this took so long I gave up on trying to keep clean for the winter. I washed and waxed today but before the wax I took a picture. They are long sweeping swirls.
very hard to capture these on camera I even tried my Nikon and the iPhone came out better

that would be great i waxed it yesterday. i am very nervous to do it alone but with your help that would be great!
Is wax any good after it has been frozen? i have a ton in the garage but had been frozen. Is there a wax you have used on black to make it nice and deep?
Thanks in advance

There's a couple new products out that are specifically for black wax, as both have the name "black wax" on them, but any good wax will do the trick. I particularly like Collinite Insulator Wax #845. It's a beast for the NE especially in winters. It's even made in Utica NY.

I think you're frozen wax will probably be ok but sometimes chemicals may separate and not reconstitute well after freezing. Give it a try.

From what I know most car care chemicals are no longer good to use after freezing.

I've used wax that had been frozen in the garage and it seems to work fine. It's hard to say how much it breaks down but for me it worked ok.

Try putting the container, if it's water tight, in a bucket of hot water to melt it and see if it goes back together. not boiling water but like as hot as it will come out of the tap should work.
