Corrosion 1830 Miles Under Hood

Hello

My new 2015 Civic at 1830 miles has corrosion on two parts under the hood, I think one is the exhaust header gasket, and not sure of the other.

I am contacting Honda corp and have the dealer take a look at it, it is 100% under warranty, but can anyone identify in the two attached pictures what these parts are (The red lines are pointing to the corrosion)





Is this normal? I know the motor takes a lot from the weather.

Normal. All kinds of metal parts will get surface rust in the engine bay.

I've had mine 3 & a half years with 40-k on it.............. keep it in my garage, and don't expose it to nasty crap if I can help it(retired). I just went to look at the same parts you're showing, and there is the beginning of rust , but not much. So if you're driving yours like a working peep than it looks normal, unless you live in a dry state(may vary).
