I once got a lot attendant fired at a honda dealer because she reved my car all the way to redline trying to pull out of the service reception area, while i was still talking to the adviser. She claimed she couldnt hear the engine

You can actually find some pretty amazing deals on used vettes if you look. You can find them with pretty low miles as well. A lot of owners garage them during the winter in the NE, so it's not uncommon to find them in pristine condition.
