If you click on the link, then the hyperlink attached to "FJ Cruiser."

Toyota FJ Cruiser
Base MSRP price range:
$27,030 - $28,620
Car Type: Midsized sport-utility vehicles
Toyota FJ Cruiser Overview
The FJ's off-road prowess is superb, but otherwise this SUV is very flawed. Visibility is horrendous, and the rear-hinged rear doors provide poor cabin access and are difficult to close. The FJ has clumsy handling and can be disconcerting at its limits, although the stability control keeps it secure enough. The ride is compliant but jiggly. The V6 powertrain is smooth and punchy but returned just 17 mpg overall. Reliability is well above average, but the FJ scores too low in our testing to be recommended.

I haven't had a chance to read through the mag, but it had quite a writeup on most vehicles it seemed. It looked like they praised most honda vehicles (2013 civic included), and had a full writeup on the changes made.

My wife just got a new Insight EX with Navi today and it is her second one. For being a hybrid without any expectation of anything other than getting from point A to point B, it really isn't a bad car. The only exception possibly being the suspension. The 2010 was horrible at highway speeds in my opinion and the 2013 has had some refinements, but the jury is out on the 2013 as I haven't driven it yet.

As far as road noise, I don't expect much on any car that starts out sub $20k.

Side note in mileage. We have gotten upwards of 65 mpg on some trips. The car is rated at 43 mpg mixed.

I think CR transposed the columns.

How is the STI the best?? It's obviously skewed because Subaru doesn't sell many STIs relative normal Imprezas or Legacies, hence there won't be many in the service dept.

General CR nonsense review: Noise, vibration, lack of infotainment, sub-par mileage, and harsh handling led us to give this vehicle a "no" recommendation as a daily driver however we have to give high praise for its ability to do what it was made for.

this is what the mag says -

Recommended Vehicles:

These are vehicles that meet consumer reports' stringent testing, reliability, and safety standards. To ear our recommendation, vehicles must perform well in our testing; have average or better reliability; and perform adequately if included in safety tests conducted by the insurance institute for highway safety or national highway traffic safety administration. In addition, pickups or SUVs must not have tipped up in the government rollover tests.

subaru had the brz, impreza, wrx/sti, legacy, xv crosstrek, and outback recommended.
