Hello everyone, new to this site although I have been lurking around for a bit before creating an account.
My names Alex, from greater Boston (20 mins north)
I recently purchased a black '14 Si sedan. Extremely pleased so far. Coming from an 8th gen I was very impressed with the changes going from an 8th to a 9th.
Enough with my introduction and onto the fun stuff.
Starting with what has been done, what is in the works, and what I have planned.

Completed:
-Red Honda Badges(front, back, steering wheel)
-Removed civic emblem on trunk and removed SI emblem from grille
-Red LEDs in driver side and passenger side to illuminate floor.
-Windows tinted to legal MA limit (not dark enough IMO)
-Protuninglab headlights (halo/LED strip DRL's and 6000k hids w/ projectors)
-Cree 30w LED fog bulbs 5000k ( contemplating a yellow lense)
-Hella horns
-plasti dipped wheels black
-fogs tinted yellow
-red engine bay lights
-added an outlet in the glovebox

In the works:
coilovers will be ordered after my Christmas shopping for everyone else is done.

New wheels (brand TBD) in spring 2015

8/5/14 tints.. 20% still not dark enough but not much I can do about that

9/13/14
Added hella horns to replace the "I wear lipstick and high heels" OEM horns and dipped the chrome grille piece black

9/21/14
Just added some new LED's in place of the last red LED's I had. Much better/brighter.

Also dipped my wheels black, very happy with how they look.

10/26 Fogs tinted yellow

11/9 Red engine bay lights ( may add a few more)

Thanks guys. Still a lot of research I have to do before buying any internals or turbo. Trying to get the basic stuff out of the way now. Heading to pick the car back up now :thumb:

There are numerous people in the 400-450whp range on stock internals with no issues.
I actually just met a guy who turbo'd his '13 who dynod right around 365 whp. Just like the idea of stronger internals and lowering my compression ratio down from 11.0:1 to around 9.0:1

Coming right up! I'll add it to my original post for you
@Alex Smith I guess the sedan and the coupe must be different. I have a 2014 couple and the Si badge is moulded right into the grill on my car.
Thats why I asked to see how you got yours off. I assumed both the sedan and coupe on the 14's were the same as far as both being part of the grill.

I really really like those headlights....those will most likely be in my future plans

The sedan emblem is on there with a few screws, but I always wondered how the Coupes was since it looks almost flush with the grill...good to know. I like the emblem on the front though for sure though

-Red LEDs under glovebox and steering wheel to shine on feet/floormats at night controlled by black w/ red LED rocker switch (may add more, need opinions)

'What leds did you use? I installed the OEM ones but I want to change out the bulbs for something a little brighter

Thank you. Lots of compliments so far on them. Totally worth it IMO

I personally thought the red H and red SI on the grill was a little too much.

I searched Cree 30w h8 on amazon and found a pair by a company called Gadgetzone. Not too expensive, but I will be trying a different brand just to see if I'm missing out on a better product. These LEDs for the fogs have been great so far though.

As Dennis rockholt said, the sedan just has 2 small screws to fasten it to the grill

After a long break of working on the civic because the miata needed all kinds of work, I've finally gotten around to a few little things on the civic.

Haha any update on the suspensions?
For now and possibly indefinitely I'm putting the suspension and turbo on hold.. There may be an Rx7 in my future, which is my dream car and that will get all my attention/money/time. Only thing that's being bought now are steelies and Blizzaks. Winters coming and I will not be caught dead on these junk continentals.

I can get a night pic for you tonight. Still need to adjust the projectors a little, I have 8k HIDs and spare ballasts on the way so going to take care of adjusting them when I give the 8ks a try. I'll get a pic up for you tonight for sure.
