So I once had an 8th gen Civic Si Dyno Blue Pearl Sedan. I absolutely loved the car, met my wife because of it, made babies in it (not really), enjoyed beating the piss out of it during autoxes and track days. Went off to war and my mom (wasn't married yet) had power of attorney. She was being a great mom and went to trade in my car for something different because the dealership I bought the car from said they would buy the car for more than it's worth (when 2012s weren't selling).
Fast forward to today. I'm rocking a 2015 STI, the car is amazing, built well by Subaru standards; but, the car mentioned above is now for sale. Only one person has owned it since it left my hands. Car looks like it was decently taken care of, paint is in okay condition, window sills need to be replaced, tires are needed, and thats about it. Dealer isn't budging much on the price because it's "The general managers daughters boyfriends friend" and they "took care of it" which I rebuttled with "I really don't give a bleep." I mean cleaning the car and making it presentable are things dealers should do before they sell any car and this guy was trying to say they couldn't budge on price because they put gas in the car...
What would you guys do? Would you ditch an STI for a car that you have a ton of great memories in? It only has 20k miles on it since I last drove it 3+ years ago.
