His point was that the stock clutch is capable beyond what any bolt-on hp/tq numbers are. It holds beyond 240 at the wheels, which is about max hp on non turbo/supercharger 9th can make.
What do you mean by already had a stage 2? Do you mean a stage 2 clutch? You do realize the "stage" is arbitrarily set by manufacturers. When you buy a clutch, you just want to make sure it is rated to hold the power you are making.
Either way, if your current clutch is stock or aftermarket and in working order, don't worry about replacing it.
