8th gen civic si stock exhaust on 9th gen civic lx

ok i just bought a used si 8thgen exhaust. my question is can i use my old gasket and bolts on the si exhaust?

Did you get just the axle back, muffler section, or the whole catback exhaust section? The muffler should bolt up no problem. I know @nat3d has done it on his car. I would reuse the bolts from your car as they will match the thread on the midpipe you are bolting to. Same with the gasket but nate could answer the particulars for you.

if you just got the axle back you should be able to reuse the gasket depending on its condition. i did lol. the only thing is the spring bolts will rattle a little you can fix it with a few washers.

Yeah the hangers should match perfectly, I have the same set up on my car. Had te same thing going with the screws rattling too but was fixed , no prob.

@Anthony Chen no they do not. after you remove your stock one bend the hangers on your car down so the tip sits a little lower. i did not and it melted some of my bumper thankfully its on the lower end of it so you cant see it. sometime soon im taking a dremmel to it to clean it up nice.
