Thanks everyone. Hopefully I'll be able to get it out tomorrow and take some pictures. Ran into a rather large problem earlier in the week that almost caused the car to catch on fire :hiding:

Was drivin down the highway and started smelling burning plastic. My girlfriend looks in the rear and says my seats are smoking. I shut the car off and pulled over on the shoulder. Go in the trunk since that's where my battery is and I thought it overheated or blew up. But battery was good. I saw flames come out from where the seats are in the middle and automatically threw everything out and ripped all wiring and put out the flames by hand because I had no fire extinguisher or cloth.

Thank god I didn't bolt the seats or ever put the metal lid on top of the hole that exposes the gas tank or the car would have caught on fire or blown up.

This is the inside of the cage. This is how close it was :bricks:

Since I made my own PnP clips and reused the stock pin slots, the stock pins weren't big enough to handle 14 volts and the pin overheated and caught on fire. Kinda scary now that I see it

Got a new fuel cage top and redid everything again. This time I drilled the top and led the wires out. Also put a second fuse between the relay and pump. Prior I only had a fuse between the battery and relay

Thanks everyone. As a precaution I put a fire extinguisher in the car. I was able to drop the new cage assembly in tonight. Primed the system and inspected it for leaks and it was good to go. So I'll be driving it tomorrow

Do they list what kind of power those gears are supposed to handle? Contacted them?
500tq but MFactory said they haven't had a Honda make that much to really test them. Harry sparks and I are the only people to break these gears

The gear was shattered pretty bad. Along with that went my FD and ring gear... Bearings are trashed too. I have decided to part the car out. Don't really have the time to fix orAnd I need a good daily. So 135i time
