This is exactly what I wanna do with my car, I hate having to drive around with my lows on just to turn on the fogs. Im also wondering if it can be done by using the factory switches? A detailed DIY would be appreciated

^ Agreed. I'm not into hacking my factory ignition wire and having another non oem switch (Have one already for my amp). I don't mind having to run my markers to run my fogs if it means I can use the stalk to use them as opposed to a separate switch altogether.

We t tap the main ignition wire with the wire we used with the male spade connecter?
What do we wire the switch with?
Where does the relay go?

you can also always buy factory switches. i have 3 of them...

sorry for the long response time. Yes 4 pins. 12v of course because all automotive electrical is 12v dc. One for in, one out, one common, and a single ground

You can get them at any automotive shop A lot of them have 30A inline fuse and 40A capable relay

i guess it requires you just have a basic understanding of electrical.. i don't want to have to rephrase everything...

but he uses the fuse on switching to avoid using another relay. Inline fuse to ensure the switch doesn't get over amperage.

You may be able to but i don't remember If it all worked internally. You cut the wire from the stalk and use that to trigger the relay. You would have to wire the relay differently. I can make a diagram for that if you would like. Still would have to run the wire out to the fuse box. But after all that, it may still only work with the headlights
