Hi new to here. My wife's 2011 1.4 civic is burning oil. They have just done a consumption test and it was bone dry. Told her she can't drive it. Doing more tests on it but mexhanic has told her one of the spark plugs was not right when he checked it. It's done 43K local driving. Well looked after and serviced by
Honda.
Any suggestions how to play this please. Should it have been picked up on its last service?

Welcome to the site. Unfortunately, most of the users here are from the US/Canada. We have a different civic here, and it has a 1.8l, or a 2.4l engine. The 2011 is also considered the 8th generation civic in the US. One of the largest forums I've seen that caters to your car would be www.civinfo.com. It consists almost entirely of users from Europe etc that have your model of car. They may even have advice on a dealership or person to talk to locally.

One thing to look at would maybe be what the last service consisted of, and how many miles ago that was. A spark plug issue isn't going to leave the engine bone dry of oil though. Something else is going on.
