Oh and here is a thread comparing some popular projectors
http://9thcivic.com/forum/threads/hid-projectors-compared-round-2.7652/
at the end of the first post has a link to the 1st round of tests
Theretrofitsource.com carries all kinds of parts for custom headlight upgrades if you want to go that route. Projector hid lights will provide the most output (currently), but some led setups are getting close.
xenondepot did some testing between various kits...
PPG, BASF, DuPont, etc all make some automotive paints collision/aftermarket repair shops tend to use. Oem paints usually go into curing ovens that can hit like 600 degrees. It’ll be different in that regard. You shouldn’t have issues down the road.
No one has posted that error here, but it’s usually from a knock sensor going bad. it appears to be #13 in the diagram circled. It’s on the back side of the engine.
if it’s something you’re going to do, you can get the part from CHH. They are like $25 under Honda msrp pricing
you could...
You buy a flashpro unit and then you will send data logs back and forth with the tuner. You don’t send the ecu or have any downtime. You pay the tuner whatever their price is for data logging. Maybe 10-30 revisions later, your car is tuned.
Take it to any Honda dealer you want. When you give them the reference number they’ll be able to confirm everything. They’ll either do the work there, or they’ll send you to a specific body shop they approve of doing the work.
It’ll make more noise than power sadly. You may see a few hp/tq gains with flashpro and a tune. Most intakes tested didn’t make really any gains unless they were 3.5” and custom tuned with hondata.
A reputable shop could definitely fix it. It looks like a rats nest right now because there are so many bundles of wires zip tied up. A shop could cut all the zip ties out and fix all of that so it’s in the trunk and clean.
I can't find a great video on it, but you can get pins out of harnesses with small shim like tools they sell on amazon

I would tell you to shop specifically for non-si coilovers so you don't have to deal with reduction washers & spring rate differences as well as mounting differences based on various years of civic si coilovers. They changed the design of the lower mounts on the si in 14.
A lot of people...
You're paying for prep, the ovens, and the ceramic content. The content of ceramic isn't the same from a $10 can of vht or whatever to a professional coating. If you look at most reviews for diy ceramic paint, even with proper prep it tends to chip/flake off. Look around on other forums or...
I’d also highly suggest reading through this in regards to upgrades

This user did theirs in the rear. I wouldn’t think all is lost with your setup. It probably just makes sense to place the cleansweep in an area with more room?
if you're getting vsa/power warning lights, have your battery tested. I have no idea how old/new the battery is or what year your car is, but get the battery checked.
