It's call "FM Traffic" and it's built into the OEM navigation system through hardware and software. Either your navigation system has it or it doesn't.
Looking at Honda's US and Canadian websites, the US website mentions that it comes built-in whereas the Canadian website does not mention it at...
Yeah, you'll be fine.
I did the exact same thing on my first manual car. You'll eventually learn how the car handles, when to shift to avoid high RPMs, and how to transition between the clutch and pedal.
Just take your time.
Also, make sure you don't have any other keys from other cars nearby. Key's from other cars can interfere with your system and not allow your car to start.
The LED is molded into the plastic underneath, so you'd have to break it off somehow and wire new LEDs...something I wasn't interested in doing.
The safe bet is to put some sort of red film overlay on the top of the "Civic" to filter the light through. I haven't ruled out installing an overlay...
I guess that's up to the voters. Having more details might help, but you may find a particular article better because it's easier for you to understand or pertains to something that anyone can do.
Regardless of what the item is or how detailed you make it, post it up and let everyone vote on...

It wasn't that bad. My fingers hurt like hell and I broke two fastening clips, but it was only two out probably 12 and they're replaceable. :shrug:
I probably won't be touching the dashboard again unless I have a better reason...like adding a backup camera or something.

Front Driver and Passenger side sills:
On the driver's and passenger's side front, apply masking tape next to the forward clip holes.
Position the front step illuminator garnishes as shown below.
