This weekend i tried to track down a rattle, i think its the flex pipe on the exhaust cause it looks like this
So i just ordered this to fix the problem
@mattsbobo it also means i wont have a main cat on my car, but ill still have the precats on the front and rear
no the harnesses are typically not present
to get the honda connectors you might have to change the entire interior harness, hugely expensive and total disassembly of the interior to swap
dont touch or mess with the occupant detection system, just do the bottom
these would work...
Sorry, my schedule opened up at the last minute and my advisor told me to take some time off from doing work, the day was nice so i just took a road trip around southwest VA
changes coming down the line for the accord, Koni yellos/neuspeed sport springs, ported and polished intake runners, potentially the better breathing magnesium intake manifold off a 3.7 and zdx throttle body. Still need to find a new J-Pipe that keeps the stock cat. the mods should be enough...
made a last minute decision to drive "the back of the dragon" today. Its a good drive, beautiful scenery this time of year especially, but I think the tail is better. I stuck my new gopro on the windshield, at some point ill post some clips of my favorite sections. end to end was about 40 min...
I heard rumors the DOT recently changed its regulations, new cars cant even use HIDs in reflector housings anymore, its projector or halogen (edit) or LED
i think if youre gonna use LEDs it has to be in a retro type format. the nature of the light as you said is directional, it needs to be in a purpose built housing, not trying to pretend to be a halogen bulb
my understanding is the control box of the VLEDs overrides whatever the cars wiring does. The 8th gen doesnt turn off the parking light when you turn on the turn signal, dont know what the 9th gen does.
