Had the track to myself for 20minutes in the pouring rain, (started off just sprinkling then got heavier) on hoosier slicks.

It was my favorite part of the weekend for sure. Legitly passed a GT3 cup car (instructor) before it started raining heavier, then everyone pitted.
I wish there was someone there taking proper photos though..

I would advise actually going to the track first before taking the plunge. See if it is actually your thing.

Listen to the ginger, aka: The Duke, aka: Major Fapper, is wise beyond his years. But don't listen too much or the next thing you find yourself doing is buying another car just for the track and adding $$$$ to it.

I can't remember, did you say you were gonna be going to VIR next year? If you are lemme know when. I dunno if it's allowed but I would drive up to watch and take photos. It's only about an 1.5 hours to get there from my parent's house in Durham
