So, I found a thread on 8thcivic that addresses this question (see image below - http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/mechanical-problems-technical-chat/141815-how-jack-up-your-car-3.html) but nothing for the 9th; so here goes... I'm having difficulty finding a suitable place to jack my 2012 Si on the front end in order to place jack stands on the rocker lift points. The 8th has a spot noted with an "A" in the image below, but the 9th does not appear to have this feature. Does anyone have any suggestions? I want to remove both front wheels at the same time. Any help will be much appreciated!

I don't have the 9th si to get under it and take a pic. Why not jack it up on the side frame, and set the stands next to those points... remove the jack and do the other side?

Depending on the jack you're using it might not be able to handle the wt. of trying to lift it in the middle anyway.

So I jacked each side up at the tow hooks and slipped the jack stands under the rockers. Thanks for the input.

The jack has a 2 metric ton capacity, so it should be adequate for this car. However, you make a valid point.
the tow hook on the 9th is the same on the rear... no clue if the front is the same. I'd imagine it's almost identical as well. I'd just peek under the car
I'm going to do the rear wheels today so I'll lift from tow hook in the middle. I cleaned the wheels with a foaming wheel cleaner last weekend and it did not agree with the plasti-dip, so I'm re-doing them.

On a side note, I removed the black body piece on the rear of the car and red plasti-dipped it. The color seems to be pretty close to the rallye red. I'll post some photos when I re-install it.

info on the brand of wheel cleaner used - to help others avoid what it did to yours? Did it eat through the coating?
It's an all purpose foaming cleaner. It's called Auto Magic Power Foam. I got it at my Honda Dealer. It did a nice job removing brake dust, as well as the plasti-dip.

I created a thread to post photos of my Civic titled "Blimpcity's 9th." I'll add photos as I make mods. I posted some photos of the back panel plasti-dipped red. IMO, I think it looks much better than the glossy black. Anyway, here's the link to the thread: http://9thcivic.com/forum/threads/blimpcitys-9th.5398/
