Did a retro couple weeks ago. Morimoto mini H1. Had everything aligned perfect. Where I messed up was when I was leveling my projectors I put them in place but only used the top screw, didn't think this would be a problem, it was. Sealed up the lens, put them on and they are both crooked!!!!!! I tighten the nut down pretty tight to where i could still rotate the projectors but it took a little force, then Put gobbs of rtv silicone around the nut and back of projector. Is there any chance I can put them back in the oven and get them to move or am I just SOL?

You can definitely get that stuff off, it's just gonna be a huge pain. Use an xacto knife and start cutting bits of it off and pulling. You're not gonna need to put them back in the oven. Just get the sealant off the backside so you can turn them a bit. That RTV can take quite a bit of heat. I think you would end up damaging the housing trying to melt it off rather than just take your time picking it apart.

Thanks. I may put them in the oven to get the lenses back off and make it easier to turn the projectors. But thanks for the heads up about the silicone
