So Im getting fog lights and i have a question. From what i think i understand this is what i know about lights...

LED: are brighter bulbs and DO NOT require special modification

HID: are brighter bulbs that DO require special modification to the wiring system to run properly

RETROFIT: replacing the stock headlight with a projector bulb. Also requires a lot of special modification

...The reason im asking for this clarification is because i want to know if i can put yellow LEDs in my foglights without any additional modification. I also just want to clear up what everything is so maybe if someone else is confused they can figure it out as well

LEDs in the foglights are just plug and play. Just pop them into the socket and they'll work. The only place you can't just plug and play LEDs are the high beams/DRL socket. That will cause issues when trying to use your high beams.

Honestly if you are thinking of getting a retrofit, DO IT. It's awesome. Yeah, it's $$$ but hands down the best and most useful thing i've done to my car.

Im gonna retrofit eventually, but fogs were my priority just because i don't have any and it looks weird just having cutouts. Did you add those rings in your headlights or buy a pair that had them? When i do a retrofit i want to add those too they look sweet!

Yeah, I had them installed when the retrofit was done. Mine was a complete custom job from customlightz. I bought new Honda OEM housings and sent them off to be fitted. I couldn't have any down time with the car. It is more expensive this way but I was able to sell back my originals once I got my "new" set installed. It's definitely worth the money to have a better projector and really good bulbs than the "extras" like halos and LED strips. Some of the upgrade lenses and color mod stuff is really nice too.
