Why a weighted shift knob?

TWM stage 2 shifter with solid bushings and a slightly weighed knob and I can shift with 1 finger... Better than stock and feel like I have to force it in gear....

I have the billet pro in the box for now.i broke two shift cables within a month,the bushings will never go back on because they are the main problem that caused the cable problems.i am keeping the moddication on for now,the tech said it will be fine,I may reinstall the SS someday,but NEVER the bushings again.

i added an oem dc5r shift knob and it really did make a difference, it goes into gear alot easier imo

Scratch that - I'd go with the Skunk2 billet one if I did.

People say that youre not supposed to drive around with your hand on the shifter as it could prematurely wear stuff our. Wouldnt a weighted shift knob have the same ill affect.
