  1. I think I can find some alternative baseball, or football, or whatever. If everybody made the choice to just ignore the teams, instead of paying to see them on TV, the owners would find that free TV was not a bad way to generate interest in the teams and encourage ticket sales.
When I wrote to the Astros, I pointed out they really did not have much of a team to begin with, and asked why they thought consumers would be willing to spend money on such a mediocre, and I'm being generous here, team. I think the owners have seriously misjudged the market for their product, but I guess we'll see.

I hope not, it was rough watching those games. But I guess thats why they play them all. I am supposed to be going to the June 1st game against the nats, thats if they ever exchange my tickets. Was going to the mets game that was rained out.

Dodgers went 1 for 2 against the the Yankees in the double header today.:) :) Good to see our bats come alive as well as solid defense on the second game..

Haha just nice to see them do good

The Pirates were 1 bad pitch in the bottom of the 9th away from winning and retaking second place in the division. Instead, ended up losing in 14 :banghead:

Kid is the complete package man, can run, field, hit, throw, etc and on top of that he's YOUNG. Hopefully he doesnt lose his focus and keeps getting better, definitely a star to come.

Yea I just hope he keeps his focus as well. He's definitely hungry for more though. I'm just happy to see the dodgers finally come together as a team and start winning!!:beer:

Anyone testing positive for doping should receive 170 game suspension minimum and a contractual reduction jn pay to league minimum. Lifetime ban for the second offense. That'd get rid of the problem.
