Thanks again for the DIY Pauly. I did this mod over the weekend. I used an add-a-circuit to tap into the 12v adapter near the aux port and I mounted an off/off switch under the steering column, right by my LED Glow control box, easy to turn all my LED's on :)

yay :)

OEM switches ftw :D

I have a question for you bro!

Is there anyway to connect that LED Glow kit to an OEM 5-pin switch? Like, to get rid of the LED control box altogether. I don't use the other settings anyways, I just use it to turn them on and off.

i haven't personally tried it, but inside those black wires are actually two #20awg wires. You'll have to separate them, marrette all the hot and ground pairs and then wire a jumper to power. it's up to you if you use that inline fuse, but i also think that control box has resistors in it. if that's the case, you'll need to un-solder those resistors and pout them inline, after that white fuse :)

I have that kit and I was just going to put the switch between the fuse and the control box, then hide the control box somewhere

Hmmm! seems like a lot of work and I wouldn't want to ruin the wires.

Interesting. So, your LED Glow control box would have to be ON at all times in order for the switch to operate/function.

But then again, I like the fact that I can turn on the console lighting WITHOUT turning on the foot-well lights as well, and vice versa. I think I'll keep it the way it is.

I'm gonna do this along with a cup holder light, and wire it to a switch along with my ambient lights.
Thanks for the DIY Paul!

I have an 8'' LED strip left over, which I plan to connect to the LED's I just installed in my center console...now, where to put it??? any ideas.

I'm thinking 'maybe' in my glove box. Hmmmm!

Or behind the middle backseat, right in front of your sub, that would be cool.
Unless that would make it too hard to see out of your back window at night

Looks great Beeshabo! Nice job. So happy to know someone found my DIY useful. I put up DIYs because I feel like I owe a lot to everyone who has helped me. I unsderstand what you mean about not knowing what to do with the left over light strip...ha ha.......maybe in the trunk? Be careful not overdo it though. Too much is like not enough, both undesirable.

I appreciate it bro, it really helped.

Yeah...I'm not sure I will use that left over strip for sure, but I might, just want a good place to put it so it's not "over-kill". We'll see!

That's why I want all mine connected to a nice looking switch because it's starting to strain my eyes at night with all the light in the car lol. So I'll leave them off mostly but can turn them on whenever I want
