Yellow tint on fog lights ?

Just curious, I see a lot of people put the yellow tint on their fog lights is it just for looks or functional ?

I find the yellow gives better visibility through fog and snow. It doesn't reflect back as much as the white ones do. That could be just a personal preference though.

I've got the yellow tints on; it's a little noticeable but you won't get the same results from the actual bulb changing
