Has anyone placed a quick release in a 15 si without dismantling all the airbags?
Also what features won't be accessible without the steering wheel buttons?

Someone did it on a 2012 or 13. You'll lose everything on your wheel. Cruise, audio control buttons, call buttons, etc. Not worth losing the airbags either.

You could buy a fake wheel to hold out the side window when cruising past the rubber-neckers that look for those things........
Write down two list, for & against. That might help.

I just saw this is your 1st post...
Welcome!

Hope you hang around, there's a lot of people here with good answers, some we like and some we don't...... But we don't have to take it, just consider it..........

If you can live without the steering wheel buttons, i would say do it.
But it's hard to stay alive without airbags so i would say dont do it...

What @323 said, steering wheel buttons would be gone as well as the airbag. Which to me is no big deal, except for cruise control. I can't live without that.

You will also lose one of the most important features in modern cars designed to save your life in the event of a crash. The main airbag placed to save your skull and your life. If you think removing this to look cool is a good idea I highly suggest you do it.

I would type out a long response but I doubt this guy comes back as his first post is "how do I kill myself quicker."
