Yeah, last week was the annual Blue Ridge Gathering event. I was not able to make it and was quite upset by it as it has been over 15yrs at this point since I last attended. But, my car wasn't done (I did manage to get the transmission back in this past weekend) and I ultimately couldn't afford the trip. So, I didn't make it and the posts throughout the week were making me sad I couldn't be there.

It's cool. I'm not upset like seeing an ex I miss after years; the one that got away kinda thing. Just disheartened I wasn't able to make a triumphant return.
Oh damn. Sorry to make you see the pics again :-/

This popped up. Same spec as my 1990 I had in Edmonton but in better condition. 4 speed manual STD.

Seems way over priced to me . . . or am I just off base on what antique base model Hondas with nearly 200kms (and presumably rust underneath even though the poorly written ad says there is none) go for? This popped up. Yeah, close enough (actual price on the ad is $9,900 CAD). Still, $6500-7000 for a 35yr old base model Honda Civic with nearly 115k miles (182,900km = 113,649mi) that was driven in a snowy area (it's Canada, so I somewhat equate that to the US rust belt) really seems over-priced to me. It's not crazy priced (saw a 1991 Camaro with ~41k miles listed the other day, seller asking $45k for it) but does seem way over priced to me. Maybe it is one of those things on the up swing due to being a classic car and I don't understand the market; but, I doubt it would be something I'd pay nearly $10k for unless there was some nostalgic or sentimental value there to make it worth it to me.$9k CAD = $6,543.04 USD
I can't click on the link right now but I thought it was around that when I clicked on it this morning.
Still pricey at $6500 USD for it. I agree.
